What exactly is a cookie?
A cookie is a very small text file that a website can ask your browser to save on your phone, tablet or computer. The next time you visit, your browser sends that file back, which lets the website recognise the device. Similar tools include local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting scripts. In this policy we use the word “cookies” to cover all of them.
Does babyfurniture.it.com place cookies on my device?
Our own website code does not create any cookies. The site is built from plain HTML pages, a stylesheet and one small script that opens the mobile menu, filters the furniture list and shows the current year in the footer. That script does not read or write cookies, local storage or session storage.
We also do not load analytics services, advertising networks, social media buttons, embedded maps or third-party fonts, which are the usual sources of cookies on other websites. Our furniture video is stored on our own server.
Could any cookie still appear while I browse?
Possibly, but only of a strictly necessary kind. The company that hosts our website may, on its own infrastructure, set a short-lived technical cookie to balance traffic between servers or to protect the site against automated attacks. These cookies do not identify you by name, are not used for advertising, and are needed for the site to be delivered securely.
Why is there no cookie pop-up on this site?
Cookie consent pop-ups are required when a website uses non-essential cookies such as analytics or advertising cookies. Because we do not use any of those, there is nothing for you to accept or reject, so we have chosen to keep your browsing free of banners. If that ever changes, we will update this page before any new cookies are introduced.
How can I block or remove cookies myself?
You are always in control of the cookies stored in your browser. Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies from their settings menu:

Blocking all cookies will not stop our nursery furniture pages from working, although it may affect other websites you use.
What about websites you link to?
Our pages link only to other pages on babyfurniture.it.com and to your own email program when you click our email address. If you later visit another website, that website’s own cookie rules will apply, not ours.
Will this policy change?
We review this Cookie Policy whenever we change how the website is built. Any change will be published on this page with a new date shown at the top.
